Oopsies vs Hidden Folks

Two seek-and-find games for iPhone and iPad, compared on facts only: what each App Store listing says, and how each one plays.

Hidden Folks listing checked: October 16, 2026

Both are rated 4+, both have no ads, and both privacy labels say "Data Not Collected". The difference is the kind of search. Hidden Folks ($4.99) is a set of big hand-drawn scenes where almost everything reacts when you tap it. Oopsies (free) is many short levels, each a crowd of Oopsies, and every world changes the rule.

Pick Hidden Folks for hand-drawn art and slow exploring. Pick Oopsies for something free, quick to pick up, and still getting new worlds.

How each one plays

Oopsies

Each level is a crowd of Oopsies, and the top of the screen shows the one to find. Tap it to bring it home. Every world adds a twist: search the dark with a flashlight in Lights Out, look for a tiny Oopsie among giants in Tiny Titans, or catch the right one before the wind mixes everyone up in Whoosh!

Hidden Folks

You search hand-drawn, interactive miniature landscapes for hidden folks. A strip shows the targets, and tapping one gives a hint. Find enough of them to unlock the next area. Along the way you open tent flaps, cut through bushes and poke crocodiles. The listing counts 32 areas, 300+ targets and 500+ interactions.

Where Oopsies is different

Where Hidden Folks is better

Which one should you pick?

Oopsies, if you want

  • A free game with nothing to buy
  • Short levels you can stop between
  • Something a 4-year-old can play without reading
  • Characters and cards to collect

Hidden Folks, if you want

  • Hand-drawn art to get lost in
  • Long, slow exploring sessions
  • One purchase, with nothing more to buy
  • To play it on Apple TV

They don't compete for the same evening, so you can easily have both. If you already have Apple Arcade, Hidden Folks+ costs nothing extra.
