About this look and remember sheet

A one-sheet memory game. Your child looks at three Oopsies in the blue box for 20 seconds, folds the page back along the dashed line (it's exactly half way down), and circles the three they remember among nine. Nothing to cut, no second sheet to hide.

Tips for parents and teachers

Count the 20 seconds out loud together: it makes the looking part feel like a game.
Ask your child to say what they notice while looking ("a green one with glasses"): words help memory.
Too easy? Shorten the looking time, or move on to the hard sheet with 6 Oopsies.

The skill it trains: visual memory

Visual memory is the ability to remember what you've seen: a shape, a picture, a word, a face. Remembering where something was (visual-spatial memory) and in what order things came (visual sequential memory) are close cousins.
