Printed instructions: “In each row, find the Oopsie from the green frame. It may be bigger, smaller or turned! Circle it.”
About this same oopsie, any size sheet
The Oopsie in the green frame shows up again in its row, but bigger, smaller or turned. Recognizing that it's still the same Oopsie whatever its size or direction is form constancy, and it's exactly what the Tiny Titans world in the app plays with: the Oopsie to find can be tiny or huge.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Ask your child what stays the same when the Oopsie changes size: the eyes, the glasses, the mouth.
- Use real objects too: the same cup, near and far away.
- Turning the sheet to straighten an Oopsie up is fine.
The skill it trains: form constancy
Form constancy is the ability to recognize a shape or an object even when it changes size, color, position or direction. A triangle is still a triangle when it's huge, tiny, upside down or red, and a cup is still a cup seen from above.

The Oopsie to find can be teeny-tiny, huge, or half hidden under a giant. Recognizing it whatever its size is form constancy at work.
