Big and Small Game for Kids: Tiny Titans
Some Oopsies are huge. Some are teeny-tiny. The one you need could be either, and that's the trick. Tiny Titans is a big and small game from Oopsies, a free seek-and-find game for iPhone and iPad. Two of its levels play right here.
Free, nothing to download. Tap Find to start: the timer runs, and a wrong Oopsie adds 10 seconds, like in the app.
How the big and small game works
The start screen shows the Oopsie to find, at its usual size. On the board, it might be much smaller, or much bigger. Every other Oopsie has a size of its own too: tiny, normal or giant.
- Level 1 is about getting used to the sizes: the Oopsie you need is its normal size.
- Level 2 shrinks it.
- Level 3 is the trap: the Oopsie is a giant. Everyone looks for something small and walks right past it. It's the second level above. Did it get you?
- Later levels hide tiny Oopsies under the edge of the giants, mix in lookalikes of every size, and turn Oopsies upside down. In the app, you pinch to zoom in on the tiny ones.
- A wrong Oopsie costs 10 seconds. There's no game over: every level ends with an Oopsie saved.
What Tiny Titans trains
Recognizing the same character whether it's huge or tiny is form constancy: knowing a shape stays the same when its size changes. It's what lets a child recognize a letter in a giant poster and in a small book.
Tiny Titans also plays with spatial relations: big and small, in front and behind, a little one peeking out from under a giant. Those are words young children are still learning.

Tips for parents
- Talk sizes. "Is it a big one or a little one this time?" Comparing sizes out loud is great practice for preschoolers.
- Warn about level 3, or don't. Some kids love being told the secret; others love discovering it. Either way, laugh about it afterwards.
- Play with real objects. Put a small toy next to a big one, then ask your child to find "the same, but bigger" around the house.
- Zooming is part of the game. In the app, show your child how to pinch to zoom: it's a skill in itself for little hands.
The Tiny Titans cards
Each level of Tiny Titans frees one Oopsie, and every Oopsie you free becomes a collector card in the app. Here are the cards of this world, the same as in the game. Point at a card, or drag it, to tilt it.
Good to know
- Free, for real. No ads, no in-app purchases, nothing to unlock with money.
- Rated 4+ on the App Store. Simple enough for preschoolers, tricky enough for grown-ups in later levels.
- iPhone, iPad, Mac (M1 or later) and Apple Vision Pro.
- Works in airplane mode. Levels play offline; progress and leaderboard times sync when you're back online.
- Rather no timer? The stopwatch button on the app's home screen hides the timer and the "+10 s" for a wrong Oopsie.
