Space Seek and Find Game: Starry Zoooooop
Some Oopsies got lost in space. They're drifting between the stars, and you need to bring the right one home. Starry Zoooooop is a space seek-and-find world from Oopsies, a free game for iPhone and iPad. Play two of its levels here, in your browser.
Free, nothing to download. Tap Find to start: the timer runs, and a wrong Oopsie adds 10 seconds, like in the app.
How the space seek and find game works
The start screen shows the Oopsie to find. Tap Find: the sky fills with Oopsies, floating apart from each other. Nothing is hidden behind anything here. The challenge is the space itself: lots of sky to cover, and Oopsies that look alike.
- Tap the Oopsie you're looking for to save it and win its card.
- A wrong Oopsie wiggles, turns gray, and adds 10 seconds to the timer.
- In the app, the sky is bigger than the screen. Drag to look around, pinch to zoom in and out. The web version fits everything on one board.
- After 30 seconds without finding, the Oopsie you need glows, and in the app the camera glides to it if it's off screen.
- Later levels bring more Oopsies, and more of them share the target's color.
What Starry Zoooooop trains
With Oopsies spread out over a big dark sky, the work is visual scanning: moving your eyes across a wide area in an organized way, without skipping a corner. It's the same skill a child uses to find a friend in a playground, or a picture in a big illustrated book.
The starry background adds a little figure-ground practice: the Oopsies have to stand out from the dots and sparkles behind them.

Tips for parents
- Split the sky. Suggest checking one half first, then the other. Big areas feel easier in pieces.
- Start with the color. In space, color is the fastest clue: skip every Oopsie of another color, then compare faces.
- Look at the night sky together. Pick a bright star, then find it again the next evening. Same game, no screen.
- For younger players, the first level of each world is the gentlest. Replaying a level is fine: there's no limit and nothing to lose.
The Starry Zoooooop cards
Each level of Starry Zoooooop frees one Oopsie, and every Oopsie you free becomes a collector card in the app. Here are the cards of this world, the same as in the game. Point at a card, or drag it, to tilt it.
Good to know
- Free, for real. No ads, no in-app purchases, nothing to unlock with money.
- Rated 4+ on the App Store. Simple enough for preschoolers, tricky enough for grown-ups in later levels.
- iPhone, iPad, Mac (M1 or later) and Apple Vision Pro.
- Works in airplane mode. Levels play offline; progress and leaderboard times sync when you're back online.
- Rather no timer? The stopwatch button on the app's home screen hides the timer and the "+10 s" for a wrong Oopsie.
